The demand for logistics, procurement, and supply chain professionals has been constantly high throughout 2013. According to the Logistics Executive Report the demand will continue to rise in 2014 as well. The Survey Report conducted a survey amongst 5187 individuals and found that more than 50% of them are employed in the logistics and supply chain sector. Since 2011 there has been an increase in hiring logistics and supply chain professionals by 4.7%. As demand grows, so we expect to see a rise in the average salary figures too.
