We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager/Account Manager The role will develop existing and new business relationships within the global client organisation.

Reporting to the Global Project Manager the Business Development Manager/Account Manager will generate leads and close sales deals through developing existing and new business relationships within the global client organisation. Instrumental in establishing our approach to market and will need to gain a full understanding of our core technical assurance offerings. The role will work closely with delivery Managers and Consultants within the businesses to provide the necessary linkage between customer requirements and service offerings.

Technical / Professional Expertise



To establish strong relationships within the regional clients Projects at the appropriate stage to gain as position as the 'preferred' inspection company.
To manage CRM Pipeline to establish accurate forecasting of new contracts to facilitate resource planning.
Lead the sales process and strategic sales planning for assigned areas within the Practice.
Acquire/convert sufficient new and repeat business to reach assigned revenue objectives and growth targets for the region.
Assist in building sales and marketing plans sufficient to reach annual sales targets.
Plan, coordinate, conduct, or attend client calls, conferences and trade shows, and sales or educational seminars.
Communicate effectively across the whole organisation, acting as a focal point for practice sales.
Communicate with appropriate GL resources with respect to sales and delivery within the GBS.

Competency Requirements



Have demonstrable success based on selling high value consultancy services, design services and solutions.
Be able to motivate, manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team, integrating sales and technical staff. Set and achieve targets and define objectives.
Involve and influence business strategy and product development teams.
Possess strong sales and negotiating skills and be able to identify and determine principles of agreement, applying sound commercial acumen.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets ideally including successful direct sales experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Tenacious and able to communicate convincingly and with authority
Personal impact and strong presentation skills
Team worker who is self motivated & confident
